A heap of zeros are following you

At this point Sho noted her tail, his smirk grew wider as did his golden eyes. “Heh, well Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally, you’re an odd digit aren’t you?” She’d probably stand out more in other cities but Shibuya was full of strangely dressed or costumed individuals.

Nikki giggled.  ”I guess you could say that.”  She shrugged.  ”I’ve been called worse.”  A mischievous grin spread across her lips.  ”So what’s there to do for fun around here?”

“Hah, well nothing wrong with being odd. It takes all kinds of digits in this equation we call life.” He shrugged at the girl’s question before giving her the usual response. “Mostly shopping, lots of clothes and music, some arcades, restaurants.”

grenouilleroi:

“Oh, Shibuya.” Zacharie nodded, trying to remember the little bit he knew about the city. “I’ve heard of it once or twice, but it wasn’t my plan to end up here.” Although, if he were to be honest, he never had much of a plan to begin with. Traveling aimlessly was all he had been doing recently, and the closest thing he had to a plan was the goal to not find himself lost in an incredibly dangerous place.

“Knowing where I am makes things a bit easier.” Even though he doesn’t know much about the place. “Thanks for your help, friend.”

“Heh, seems to be a common denominator lately, somehow a lot of interesting variables have wandered their way into my little matrix.” He grinned at the strange man.

“No problem, Shibuya’s usually the go to matrix for people to do a little shopping, so be careful not to subtract too much from your wallet if you plan to head home soon.” He had gotten too used to these travelers asking for directions, he was starting to sound like some kind of tour guide. That aside, he was noticing now that the man’s Vibe was different, maybe he was one of the special travelers he’d had the pleasure of meeting more and more of lately.

A Different Composer

composing-angel:

“Ah, well that ramen is a special order that the chef only makes for certain reasons and for certain people. You wouldn’t really qualify~” he purred, leaning back in his seat.

“Though how nice to get to know you just a little. You like spicy food and cherish ramen. heh heh, it’s such a shame you aren’t a variable in my version of the world~” he chuckled. Well, Sho was part of his world but not really in Josh’s life. Or after life really. All they had really done so far in his world was fight.

“So what are your other interests, dear Sho. Perhaps we’re more alike than we realize.”

image

“That’s a zetta shame, I’ll have to find out how to get into that equation.” he mused as he slouched a little in his seat, make himself comfortable.

“Your version of the world, huh?” Sho smirked at the Composer’s words, was he giving up on the little charade already? It seemed a little odd for him to do that, but then again Sho couldn’t begin to understand his thoughts. “So you’d prefer a variable like me in that equation then?”

“Heh, well math is an important factor obviously, I doubt I need to into detail about that. Mostly I’ve just been spending my time adding sculptures to the city or playing Tin Pin and other arcade games. And how about you?”

“Who stuck an irrational into your equation?” Sho was used to attitude but this guy was acting like he’d just run over his dog or something.

image

“I don’t give a flying factor if you take it as an insult or not, that’s just how I see the world. Your equations all equal zero while my limit approaches infinity.”

Silver continued to keep his completely unamused expression on his face as this guy continued to ramble on about… Well, Silver recognized SOME of the words he was saying from his encounter with N, so the translation in his mind came out to be some arrogant rambling, in which Silver nearly let out an amused scoff at the thought. “The only thing I see reaching infinity is how annoying you are.” He responded with a hand reaching up to lightly brush a red lock of hair out of his face, his eyebrows furrowed, his face molding into a scowl.

“I believe the only thing you have against everyone else is the ability to baffle them with your attempt to baffle them with your terminology, but that is all.” He finally stuffed his hands in his pockets. “You have a larger Arceus complex than Gold on a good day.” Or himself, for that matter.

The boy was continuing with that same attitude. Attitude wasn’t something Sho had trouble dealing with, but this guy seemed like he had a stick up his ass all the time. Of course, he wasn’t going to let some random zero try to tell him off like this.

“Hah! My ‘baffling speech’ is just proof of how much greater I am than them. My mathematical genius is unmatched in any other equation. Any solution is within my grasp with the right equation.” He wasn’t sure what an ‘Arceus’ was, but from the way he spoke, Sho assumed it was a God complex. “Heh, you obviously don’t know who you’re talking to. Any tree can drop an apple. I’ll drop the freaking moon!”

Hectopascal.

Neku’s gaze intensified, pupils extended with sheer antagonism toward the towering filth laid before him. The arithmophile spoke atop the pile— with a raspy, chilling voice. It need not boom like thunder in a storm or shriek like nails on a chalkboard to be heard so clearly. To attain a calamitous presence without the amenities was a far-fetched concept. But not impossible. Still, the Player held his ground.

Despite the ‘wildcard’ in which he brought to light, the boy’s face hadn’t changed. Fearlessness and valor showed profoundly, despite the internal fear held within. Instead, his teeth gritted and palms formed tightly into fists; Eyes at a halt toward the GM.

“Are you kidding me—” A brief pause was ensued, the irritation slowly fading. “… Hell no.”

Sho threw his head back and let out a booming laugh at the boy’s quick answer. His lips spread out wider into a devilish grin, his signature fang-like teeth visible even from a distance.

He lifted the megaphone back to his mouth and let his voice thunder across the streets again, uncaring who might have heard him. “Aw but we had such a zetta fun time during the Game didn’t we?” he asked mockingly. “I just wanted to catch up with an old friend’s equation.”

grenouilleroi:

What an intriguing place Zacharie had found himself in this time. To an extent, anyway. He still wasn’t sure what this place was called exactly, but it was a very busy city. Deciding to figure out a bit more about the place, he approached a man nearby who looked almost as shady as the masked man himself.

image

“Buenos dias, stranger. You wouldn’t happen to know where we are right now, would you?”

Sho was caught off guard by the sound of a greeting he expected from Mexican Dog, but not exactly one he heard often in the streets. He turned to see an unfamiliar man in an unfamiliar mask.

Sho assumed he was traveler by his question, it seemed like Shibuya was seeing a lot of those lately. “You’re in Shibuya, although you must have lost your vector if you didn’t know that, it’s a pretty well known city in Japan.”

dr-aya-drevis:

“Just behave yourself.” Aya warned, giving up. She spotted an old patient, Richard. But just as she was about to head over to him, someone called her name from behind. Really, this is happening too often for her taste.

But this one sound more familiar. She turn to see a slightly older brown hair man with familiar hazel eyes who seem to gasp at her. Oh, it was him. She should have expected to see him. It was Anna’s charity event.

“I thought I heard your voice!” The man exclaimed before taking a few steps forward, closing in the distance between them quickly before scooping her into a hug.

“I can’t believe you cut your hair!” He exclaimed, sounding pleasantly surprised. “Look at you!” He added when he only partily release her, still keeping an arm around her, before giving her a friendly peck on her cheek, causing Aya to blush.

“I’m very disappointed in Sis. ‘I saw Aya the other day, she was looking for a place that sell cheaper supplies.’ ‘Aya just opened up a clinic of her own.’ But she couldn’t bother to mention your haircut!” The man complained. “And here I was, looking for a long black hair lady. The least Sis could have done was tell me this before the party started.” He said before glancing over to see Sho. He was a little a taken back as he take in Sho’s appearance, and the out-of-place hat.

But he didn’t let that stop him from offering a free hand to shake with the other as he hug Aya closer.

“Dave Kanae at your service. Well, Doctor Kanae, but Sis already beaten me that title. And it’ll get confusing to say Doctor Kanae for the both of us. So feel free to call me Dave!” He grinned.

“And before you ask, yes I’m related to Anna Kanae, our wonderful host of the event. I’m her elder, but stupider brother. Nice to meet you.” Dave said happily, not noticing Aya’s silent plotting.

It was rather nice to see him again. The day is turning out to be more and more of a reunion, rather than work.

In fact, she was starting to expect to see more of her friends and colleagues from college.

——

At Leon’s question, it as as though Anna realize she doesn’t have enough time.

“Oh that’s right, I got some questions for you, about Aya really. How long have you know her? I want to ask the other man, Sho, right? About her. Especially with her birthday coming up soon. But I don’t think you guys know that. Aya is so quiet, She tend to keep things to herself and overwork. So I do worry about her. And I have more questions, but, ah! I also forgot!” Anna exclaimed.

“Sorry, hold on to those answers. Sorry! I should have dealt with the issue of your clothes first. Alright! First thing first, do you want a change of clothes? I was able to secure a couple of spare clothes. Perks of being a dean of this hospital and in charge.” Anna asked seriously.

“I felt really bad, but I’ll feel better if you were able to have a change of clothes. I’ll learn not to over do it. It’s just that there weren’t enough time to get more people and tell them what to do. But I ended up making things worst. Anyway. Why don’t you get change? Thomas here will show you where’s the restroom is, and hold onto your clothes until you have to leave. Actually no wait.” Anna pause, thinking it out.

“Sorry. It’s been a stressful month. Anyway, like I was saying, Thomas will lead you to the men’s restroom to get change, then set aside your dirty clothes to the laundromat, and have them bill us, and we can deliver you your clothes back. You can’t keep the change of clothes though.” Anna added seriously, trying not to get overwhelmed with herself.

“Heh, don’t worry digit, I promise on my afterlife.” He flashed the doctor a quick smile before someone else showed up.

This man certainly seemed excited to see Aya to say the least, and it was obvious they had some history together, especially if they were close enough for him to hug and kiss her like that.

He was used to the look of surprise from the other doctor and chuckled a little as he gripped the man’s hand firmly and shook it. “Heh, zetta nice to meet you, the name’s Sho Minamimoto. I had the pleasure of meeting your sister a little bit ago before she ran off to try to keep this equation under control.”

Well if he had to wait to talk to Anna, her brother would be just as good, not to mention he seemed to be a rather talkative person, this could work out well for him.

“So you’re obviously close to Aya,” he nodded his head towards her. “We’ve only met once before this honestly, but I think I left quite the impression on her all the same, right?” He smiled at Aya with those pearly white fangs of his.

“Heh, well of course, because I’m nothing like these zeros. The rest of them are zetta dull compared to me.” Sho threw his head back and let out a laugh. He flashed the girl a grin, showing off his sharp, white teeth. “Heh, I guess you’ve got good taste to notice that though, digit.”

“Humans are quite dull looking, aren’t they?”  She smirked, showing off her sharpened canines.  ”Glad to see I’m not the only one with fangs.”  Her tail shook excitedly behind her.  There were so many people here, and no one seemed to really pay attention to each other.  She didn’t even bother shifting into her human form.

At this point Sho noted her tail, his smirk grew wider as did his golden eyes. “Heh, well Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally, you’re an odd digit aren’t you?” She’d probably stand out more in other cities but Shibuya was full of strangely dressed or costumed individuals.

leonthedriftingwanderer whispered,

Congratulations! You just won the “Quality Role-Player Award” today! This is proof that you have exhibited exemplary skills in the field of Role-Play. Copy and paste this to other RP blogs that you think are quality~

Oh wow thanks ! I’d probably be pasting all day to send it to all the quality blogs I follow haha. I think everyone I RP with is quality.

Skin: Do you tan easily?

“I think that’s zetta obvious just looking at me.”

“I am a bit darker than most zeros in Shibuya.”

Neck: Do you wear necklaces?

“Again, zetta obvious, it’s not like it’s that hard to see on me.”

“Hell if I know.” Silver responded with sarcasm evident in his voice. Of course, it was clear by the way that he composed himself that he wasn’t intimidated by this tall, rather well toned man.

“If that was meant to belittle me, it did a rather piss poor job of it.”

“Who stuck an irrational into your equation?” Sho was used to attitude but this guy was acting like he’d just run over his dog or something.

“I don’t give a flying factor if you take it as an insult or not, that’s just how I see the world. Your equations all equal zero while my limit approaches infinity.”

Nikki cocked her head at the strange man.  How could one so young have grey hair?  This guy gave off a really strange vibe.  He didn’t smell like normal humans either.  She studied him with dark blue eyes.  ”You really stand out from a crowd.”

“Who are you calling a zero?”

“Hah, anyone who’s value is lower than mine is a zero. QED, class dismissed.”
